ABOUT US

Founded in 1862, Holywood Yacht Club is one of the oldest yacht clubs in Ireland. We are a small, friendly and active sailing club who caters for all levels and abilities. The sailing season runs from April to September during which there are regular sailing sessions, races, training and social events. Come on down and get out on the waves!

A big weekend for HYC members this weekend as Sophie Cahill and Chris Penney raced at the ILCA Irish National Championships at Ballyholme Yacht Club ⛵️🇮🇪Sophia finished 49th overall in the ILCA 6 fleet and Chris finished 9th overall in the ILCA 7 fleet winning 3rd Master.
